Overview
Family Guy is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane and David Zuckerman for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series premiered on January 31, 1999, following Super Bowl XXXIII, with the remainder of the first season airing starting April 11, 1999. Set in a Rhode Island town, the show follows the dysfunctional Griffin family as they navigate various scenarios in their daily lives. The family includes the bumbling father Peter and his long-suffering wife Lois. They have three children: the brilliant but sadistic baby Stewie, who aims to kill his mother and take over the world; the unpopular Meg; and the middle child Chris, who has a passion for movies.
