S19·E19 Family Cat

Episode recap

In this episode of the animated series Family Guy, titled Family Cat, the dysfunctional Griffin family adopts a new cat named Pouncy. Following the arrival of the pet, Brian attempts to convince the rest of the Griffins that the newly adopted animal is evil.

The animated sitcom follows the adventures of the eccentric Griffin family. The household features bumbling Peter and long-suffering Lois, along with their three children. Among the children are Stewie, a brilliant but sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and taking over the world, and Meg, the oldest child who is the most unpo. Brian, who also lives with the family, takes it upon himself to warn them about the true nature of Pouncy the cat, though his efforts are focused on proving that the feline poses a threat to the household.

The series is known for being a sick, twisted, politically incorrect, and freakin' sweet animated show that chronicles the chaotic daily lives of its main characters. As Brian tries to make his case to the family regarding the adopted cat, the household must deal with the tension brought on by the new pet's presence and Brian's warnings.
