In the seventh episode of the twelfth season of the animated series Family Guy, Peter and Quagmire make a surprising discovery when they find that their singing voices create a beautiful harmony together. Building on this musical discovery, the two characters form a singing and songwriting team in the vein of Simon and Garfunkel. However, tensions run high between the partners when fame eventually gets to Peter's head.
