In the seventh episode of the sixth season of Family Guy, titled Peter's Daughter, the town of Quahog experiences a flood. During the disaster, Meg Griffin is injured and subsequently hospitalized, where she remains in a coma. Upon waking, Meg encounters a medical student and the two quickly develop a romantic connection. Peter Griffin, acting in his capacity as an overprotective father, becomes determined to interfere with the relationship and drive the medical student away from his daughter. However, the dynamic of the situation shifts significantly when Meg reveals that she is pregnant. The episode follows the Griffin family, an eccentric and dysfunctional group living in Quahog. The series features Peter, a bumbling father, and his wife Lois, along with their children. The household also includes Stewie, a brilliant and sadistic infant, and their dog Brian.
