Overview

Bones is an American police procedural drama television series that premiered on the Fox Network. The show is a forensics and police procedural that focuses on murder investigations. Dr. Temperance Brennan and her colleagues at the Jeffersonian's Medico-Legal Lab assist Special Agent Seeley Booth with these investigations when the remains are badly decomposed, burned or destroyed. The series features a cast of characters with different personalities and explores their lives and work. The show was created by Hart Hanson and aired for a number of episodes. The characters of Dr. Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth are central to the series, with Brennan being a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute.
