Synopsis
When it is discovered that a stage prop used by a Norwegian death metal band is in fact a real human skeleton, the remains are sent to the Jeffersonian when authorities determine the victim was an American citizen.

In the television series Bones, Dr. Temperance Brennan and her colleagues at the Jeffersonian institute assist authorities and law enforcement in solving crimes. In season four, episode twenty-one, titled Mayhem on a Cross, a stage prop used by a Norwegian death metal band is discovered to be a real human skeleton. After authorities determine that the victim was an American citizen, the remains are sent to the Jeffersonian medico-legal lab for examination and analysis.
