Synopsis
A woman's car is run off the road and she is killed, but her baby miraculously survives the accident. Booth and Brennan go to the woman's hometown to try to find out who's responsible for running her car off the road. Bones, with help from Booth, takes care of the baby until the team finds out who killed the mother.

The television series Bones features Dr. Temperance Brennan and her colleagues at the Jeffersonian institute, who assist the FBI on cases. The series is a police procedural drama created by Hart Hanson for Fox. In the twelfth episode of the third season, titled The Baby in the Bough, a woman is killed when her car is run off the road. Miraculously, her baby survives the accident. Following the incident, Special Agent Seeley Booth and Dr. Brennan travel to the victim's hometown to investigate and find out who is responsible for running the woman's car off the road. While the team works to find out who killed the mother, Bones takes care of the baby with help from Booth.
