The Mentalist is an American procedural drama television series that aired on CBS from September 23, 2008, until February 18, 2015. Created by executive producer Bruno Heller, the show spanned 151 episodes across seven seasons. The narrative follows Patrick Jane, portrayed by Simon Baker, a former celebrity psychic medium who publicly admits to being a fraud. Utilizing his razor-sharp observational skills and expert knowledge of the human psyche, Jane serves as a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation to help solve serious crimes.
