In this episode of The Mentalist, Patrick Jane is arrested by Bosco for spying on him. Despite being in prison, Jane is able to assist the CBI team in solving a murder case. The team is investigating the death of a young man, and Jane uses his skills of observation to provide insight into the case from his cell. The CBI team is able to use Jane's information to gather evidence and ultimately solve the murder. This episode showcases Jane's ability to think outside the box and use his unique skills to help the team solve a complex case.
