The team's efforts involve reviewing the case and gathering information to piece together the events surrounding the crime. Patrick Jane, a former celebrity psychic medium, uses his skills of observation and expertise to aid in the investigation. His heightened observational skills and knowledge of the human psyche are utilized to analyze the case and identify potential leads. The team's goal is to uncover the truth behind the undercover cop's death and bring the perpetrator to justice.
