Tadashi Hiramatsu is a Japanese animator and character designer who is credited for visual effects. He was born on March 17, 1963, in Toyokawa, Aichi, Japan. After graduating and initially working as a salaryman, he decided to become an animator and joined Nakamura Production. He made his debut on Mister Ajikko in 1987. Subsequently, he joined Studio Gainax and participated in the production of Neon Genesis Evangelion. In 1998, he debuted as a character designer for Kare Kano. His professional stage name is written in Japanese as 平松禎史, and he is also known by alternative names including 平松 禎史, Hiramatz, and 平松禎士. He has a total of 88 known credits in the database.
