Argento Soma is a television series released in the year 2000 that falls under the animation and action and adventure genres. The twenty-first century was intended to mark the start of mankind's golden age of space travel, but humanity's lingering dreams of the stars are shelved when Earth suddenly comes under attack by alien entities. These giant invaders trample across the planet's surface and leave nothing but death and destruction in their wake. Having suffered personal losses from the invasion, Takuto Kaneshiro joins the fight against the extraterrestrial enemies. In his quest for vengeance, the disillusioned young Takuto must seek out any possible allies, though the line between friend and foe is dangerously thin.
