John Lasseter is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, animator, voice actor, and head of animation at Skydance Animation. He previously served as chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Disneytoon Studios, as well as Principal Creative Advisor for Walt Disney Imagineering. Lasseter's career began at The Walt Disney Company, where he became an animator, and he later worked at Lucasfilm on the use of CGI animation. He joined Pixar after Lucasfilm became Pixar in 1986 and directed several films, including Toy Story and Toy Story 2.
