Biography
Gerald Mohr was an American character actor. He appeared in numerous radio plays, films, and television shows. Born in New York City, Mohr was educated at Dwight Preparatory School, where he learned to speak fluent French and German. He attended Columbia University, initially pursuing a career as a doctor, before being discovered as a promising voice talent. Mohr was hired by a radio station and became a junior reporter. He later joined the Mercury Theatre, appearing on Broadway, and began his film career in the late 1930s, playing his first villain role in a 15-part production.
