Overview
Air is a television series created by Jun Maeda that follows the journey of a character named Yukito Kunisaki. The series features voice performances by Daisuke Ono, Tomoko Kawakami, Monica Rial, and Aya Hisakawa. The narrative centers on Yukito, who travels in search of a Winged Maiden bound to the sky, a figure he learned about through a childhood tale told by his mother. During his travels, Yukito performs puppet shows to earn money. He eventually arrives in a small town where he does not intend to stay for long. However, his plans change after he meets an unusual girl named Misuzu, who invites him to stay with her. The series aired on the BS-i Japanese television network between January 6 and March 31, 2005. Following the conclusion of the main series, a mini-series titled Air in Summer aired on August 28 and September 4 of the same year to add to the story.
