Laredo is an American Western television series that aired on NBC. The show is set on the Mexican border about Laredo, Texas, and follows the lives of Texas Rangers. The series stars Neville Brand, William Smith, Peter Brown, and Philip Carey in the leading roles. It was produced by Universal Television. The pilot episode of Laredo originally aired as part of NBC's The Virginian under a different title. A feature film, Backtrack, was released theatrically in 1969, and it is also known that some episodes from the series were edited into a 1968 feature film titled Three Guns for Texas.
