Overview

Trackdown is an American Western television series that aired on CBS between 1957 and 1959. The series starred Robert Culp and was produced by Dick Powell's Four Star Television, with filming taking place at the Desilu-Culver Studio. More than seventy episodes of the series were produced. The series was a spin-off of Dick Powell's anthology series, Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theater. Trackdown featured Texas Ranger Hoby Gilman, portrayed by Robert Culp, as he traveled the Old West tracking down various criminals. The series archives contain scripts from the show, including twenty-one scripts in carbon and mimeographed copy formats. The show was a classic TV series that showcased Robert Culp's portrayal of a Texas Ranger in a relentless pursuit of justice. The series aired for two seasons on CBS.
