Biography
Frank Ferguson was an American character actor. He appeared in hundreds of film and television productions. Ferguson's film debut was in 1939 in Gambling on the High Seas, released in 1940. He went on to appear in nearly 200 feature films and hundreds of TV episodes. Ferguson is known for his roles in My Friend Flicka and Lassie. He portrayed the Swedish ranch handyman, Gus Broeberg, in My Friend Flicka, and the Calverton veterinarian in the first several seasons of Lassie. Ferguson made hundreds of appearances in film and television, working with notable actors and actresses. He was born on December 25, 1899, and passed away on September 12, 1978.
