Benito Martinez is an American actor born on June 28, 1971, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in Earls Court, London, England. Martinez has appeared in various roles, including a police captain and city councilman in the FX Networks' crime drama series The Shield. He has also had roles in the film Million Dollar Baby and the television series Firefly, as well as a stint as an extra on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Martinez has provided voice acting for several video games, including Killer7 and Age of Empires III.
