Overview
The television series Big Sky is a production of David E. Kelley Productions, A+E Studios, and 20th Television, with David E. Kelley and Ross Fineman serving as executive producers. The series was announced in January 2020 and given a straight-to-series order by ABC. It is based on C. J. Box's novel The Highway and was developed by David E. Kelley. The show follows a private detective and an ex-cop as they work together to solve crimes in Montana. The series features a cast including Katheryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury. The story begins with the search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. As the investigation unfolds, the detectives discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, leading to a race against time to stop the perpetrator.
