Overview
Hawaii Five-0 is a television series set in the state of Hawaii. The narrative follows Steve McGarrett, who returns to Oahu to investigate the murder of his father. Upon his arrival, the governor provides McGarrett with the opportunity to lead a specialized task force known as Five-0. To assist with this mission, McGarrett assembles a team consisting of Chin Ho Kelly, Danny Danno Williams, and Kono Kalakaua. The series focuses on the operations of this newly formed unit as they work within the Hawaiian Islands. While the state of Hawaii is composed of eight unique islands located in Oceania, the show centers its activities on the island of Oahu. The task force is established under the authority of the governor to address criminal activity in the region. Through the efforts of McGarrett and his colleagues, the team navigates their duties while the protagonist pursues the individual responsible for his father's death. The series depicts the professional collaboration between these four central characters as they operate as a dedicated law enforcement entity.
