Andy Umberger is an American actor who began his career as a primarily stage actor in New York City. During his time in New York, he appeared in three Broadway shows, which were City of Angels, Passion, and Company. In the late 1990s, he and his wife relocated to Los Angeles. Since moving to Los Angeles, Umberger has appeared in supporting roles in over 15 films and has guest starred on over 60 television shows. Additionally, he has held recurring roles on 10 different television series, including Mad Men, Weeds, Boston Legal, The West Wing, Desperate Housewives, ER, and as the character D'Hoffryn in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.
