JAG is an American legal drama television series with a United States Navy theme. Created by Donald P. Bellisario, the program was produced by Belisarius Productions in association with Paramount Network Television. The series originally aired on NBC. The narrative centers on the Judge Advocate General division, which serves as the elite legal wing of the military responsible for prosecuting and defending personnel accused of military-related crimes. The primary protagonist is Harmon Rabb Jr., a former Navy fighter pilot who transitioned into a career as a lawyer.
