Biography

David James Elliott is a Canadian film and television actor. He is best known for his lead role as Harmon Rabb Jr. on the television series JAG. After moving to Los Angeles, he adopted the stage name David James Elliott because another actor was already registered under his birth name, David Smith. His early film work includes the 1986 production Police Academy 3: Back in Training. His television credits include appearances in Street Legal, Knots Landing as Bill Nolan, and The Untouchables as Agent Paul Robbins. He also held a recurring role as Terry Parsons on Melrose Place and appeared as Carl in an episode of Seinfeld.
