Serving as both a prequel and a spin-off to the series The Big Bang Theory, the show explores the early life of the character Sheldon Cooper. The narrative is set in East Texas and spans from the late 1980s through the mid-1990s. The series follows the childhood of Sheldon Cooper, who is depicted as a gifted young prodigy. As he navigates his youth, the socially impaired child genius faces a variety of unique challenges alongside his family members.
