Overview
Nip/Tuck is an American medical drama television series created by Ryan Murphy that aired on the FX network from July 22, 2003, to March 3, 2010. Spanning six seasons and 100 episodes, the program focuses on the professional and personal lives of two plastic surgeons, Dr. Sean McNamara and Dr. Christian Troy, who operate a cutting-edge practice called McNamara/Troy. The series explores the characters as they experience full-blown midlife crises while confronting various career, family, and romance problems. Beyond its core medical premise, the show incorporates elements of black comedy, crime drama, satire, family drama, and psychological thriller.
