Sanaa McCoy Lathan is an American stage, film, television, and voice actress born on September 19, 1971. She is the daughter of actress Eleanor McCoy and film director Stan Lathan. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in drama from Yale. Lathan is recognized for her roles as Robyn in The Best Man films and the related Peacock miniseries, Naomi Hicks in Hit and Run, Violet Jones in Nappily Ever After, and Ashe Akino in the Fox drama Shots Fired. Her filmography includes portrayals of Deputy Director Natalie Austin in Now You See Me 2 and Leah Vaughn in The Perfect Guy. She also appeared in The Affair and on Starz.
