While driving through the Thac Ngua overflow bridge in Khanh Nam commune, the car was suddenly swept away by a flood when the water was rising. At this time, the male driver and the man inside the car panicked and threw open the door to escape. The car was swept away by the water.
According to the local government, every time it rains heavily, the Waterfall Bridge spillway water level often rises. Therefore, the locality has placed danger warning signs, but many people still run through this area.

It is known that the above young man is Mr. SV D.T (born 2003, residing in Loc Tho ward, Nha Trang city) driving a 5-seat Mercedes, traveling from Khanh Nam commune (Khanh Vinh district) to the town. Khanh Vinh district, when reaching Thac Ngua spillway bridge (section passing Hon Du village, Khanh Nam commune) was swept away by flood water.
At the time of the incident, in the accident car, besides Mr. T, there was also a man residing in Nha Trang City. Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities began to salvage the car ashore.
