The front of the house is beautiful
The urbanization trend taking place in Vietnam is moving from bustling city centers to quiet rural areas. As a result, the landscape in many villages is undergoing a significant change. The traditional village scene is gradually being replaced by the appearance of city-style tube houses, a development that disrupts the peaceful and picturesque atmosphere of these rural areas.
In this shifting architectural landscape, the beautiful Dien Khanh House (land area 200m2) stands out as an effort to preserve the fading nature of traditional rural houses. The house strives to provide a clean and harmonious living environment, one that is closely linked to the surrounding natural beauty, while meeting the needs of modern life and contemporary social progress.

In front of the house is a traditional tiled yard
In front of the house is a spacious front yard, flanked by rows of areca trees and lush green vegetation, surrounded by a traditional fence. The courtyard is paved with bricks, which not only creates a visual connection with the tiled roof but also evokes the familiar courtyard scene often found in traditional Vietnamese houses.
What really makes a difference in the design of the beautiful house Dien Khanh House is the creative approach in organizing the space. Upon entering the house, the viewer begins a journey through the spaces that open up.

Green vegetation close to the living room brings a natural space to the house. Furthermore, the front yard and main house are divided into spaces by changing the floor height
The front yard offers a wide, open view that gradually changes as people move deeper into the house. Ceiling heights strategically vary, creating a feeling of spaciousness as the living room opens into the grand lobby on the first floor. The space is then subtly narrowed, directing residents through a corridor connecting to the back of the house.

The spaces connected to each other are left with space to grow trees

The living room space, dining area, and kitchen are designed close to each other to create connection
This hallway will eventually expand to connect with the kitchen space, skylight and parents’ bedroom. A key element in this architectural layout is the separation between living and relaxation areas by strategically placed atriums and skylights.

Skylights help the house receive a lot of natural light
Skylights help effectively transmit natural light and fresh air into the house, ensuring a well-lit, airy and comfortable living space.
The interior design of a beautiful house shows simplicity, modern comfort, and meets the requirements of contemporary life. The strategic use of white paint and light wood materials gives a spacious and bright feeling inside.

The interior uses light tones with a simple design but still ensures comfort
Cleverly, traditional elements are seamlessly integrated into the interior, such as the wooden sofa in the living room and the traditional patio seating commonly found in Vietnamese households, paying homage to the region’s rich cultural heritage while meeting the needs of today.
