Sasha Alexander, born Suzana Drobnjakovic on May 17, 1973, is an American actress and television director. Born in Los Angeles, California, she is recognized for her work across film and television. Throughout her career, she has been credited with 47 acting roles. In addition to her professional acting pursuits, she is noted for her skills as a pianist and equestrian, as well as her philanthropic efforts. She is a recipient of the 2016 People's Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Actress. Alexander is known professionally by her stage name, having been born with the name Suzana Drobnjakovic.
