Bull is an American legal drama television series that premiered on CBS on September 20, 2016. Created by Phil McGraw and Paul Attanasio, the show stars Michael Weatherly as Dr. Jason Bull, the brilliant, brash, and charming founder of a successful trial consulting firm. The series is inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, who also served as an executive producer. In his role, Dr. Bull functions as a psychologist and expert jury consultant who combines human intuition, psychology, and high-tech data to analyze the motivations of jurors, attorneys, witnesses, and the accused. During the first several episodes, the program featured an opening monologue narrated by Michael Weatherly. The series ran for six seasons, concluding on May 26, 2022.
