Owen Teale is a Welsh actor born on May 20, 1961, in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom. He trained at the Guildford School of Acting. His television debut occurred in The Mimosa Boys in 1984, followed by appearances in Knights of God, Great Expectations, Waterfront Beat, and Boon. In 1991, he was cast as Will Scarlet in the television movie Robin Hood. His other television credits include Dangerfield, Ballykissangel, Belonging, Spooks, and Murphy's Law. In 2005, he starred in Marian, Again as the abusive husband of Kelly Harrison's character, alongside Stephen Tompkinson and Samantha Beckinsale. His film debut was in War Requiem in 1989. Additional film credits include The Hawk, King Arthur, The Last Legion, Tolkien, and Dream Horse.
