Screen Two is a British television anthology drama series produced by the BBC. The series was transmitted on BBC2 from 1985 to 1998. It is a series of single made-for-television dramas. The series was overseen by Kenith Trodd, who joined the BBC team in 1984 and led the transition from BBC studio plays to the Screen One and Screen Two anthology series. Screen Two is not to be confused with a run of films shown on BBC2 under the billing Screen 2 between April 1977 and March 1978. The series consists of one-off dramas made especially for television. Episode guides for the series are available, including a guide on the BBC website. The series features a range of dramas, including the episode Midnight Movie, which explores passionate and long forgotten memories stirred after a midnight movie on television.
