Overview

The Rig is a television series centered on the crew of the Kinloch Bravo oil rig. The narrative begins when the workers find themselves isolated from the Scottish mainland due to the sudden appearance of a mysterious fog that severs all communication. As the crew struggles to maintain contact with the outside world, they are forced to navigate a series of environmental pressures while dealing with increasing paranoia and interpersonal tensions among the staff. The situation escalates when the individuals discover that the threat they face is something beyond their wildest imagination. This realization forces the divided group to set aside their differences and form an alliance to ensure their collective survival.
