Biography
John Hannah is a Scottish actor and narrator born on April 23, 1962. He came to prominence in the 1994 film Four Weddings and a Funeral as Matthew, earning a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. His other film credits include Sliding Doors in 1998, The Hurricane in 1999, and The Mummy trilogy from 1999 to 2008. His television roles include Dr Iain McCallum in McCallum from 1995 to 1998, the title character in Rebus from 2000 to 2001, Jack Roper in New Street Law from 2006 to 2007, and Jake Osbourne in Cold Blood from 2007 to 2008. He also portrayed Quintus Lentulus Batiatus in Spartacus from 2010 to 2011, Jack Cloth in A Touch of Cloth from 2012 to 2014, and Jason's father Aeson in the BBC series Atlantis from 2013 to 2015.
