Leslie William Nielsen was a Canadian-American actor and comedian born on February 11, 1926, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and died on November 28, 2010. Before beginning his acting career, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and worked as a disc jockey, later receiving a scholarship to Neighborhood Playhouse. Known for portraying over 220 characters throughout his career, Nielsen appeared in over one hundred films and 1,500 television programs. He was credited with 271 known credits on The Movie Database.
