Nina Consuelo Maud Fock, known professionally as Nina Foch, was a Dutch American actress born in Leiden, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands on April 20, 1924, and she died on December 5, 2008, at the age of 84. Foch signed a contract with Columbia Pictures at age 19, initially becoming a regular in the studio's horror pictures and films noir. She later established herself as a dramatic leading lady in the late 1940s through the 1950s, frequently portraying cool and aloof sophisticates.
