Kasey Rogers, born Josie Imogene Rogers on December 15, 1925 in Morehouse, Missouri, was an American actress and writer who died July 6, 2006 at the age of 80. She moved with her family to California when she was about two years old. As a child her skill at baseball earned her the nickname “Casey” after the poem “Casey at the Bat,” a moniker later incorporated into her professional name. While under contract to Paramount she performed under the stage name Laura Elliot. In 1955 she began working with Hollywood press agent Walter Winslow Lewis III, who advised her to combine the nickname with her maiden surname. Rogers is best remembered for portraying the second Louise Tate in the television sitcom Bewitched, and she accumulated 58 credited acting roles over her career.
