Overview

Bewitched is an American fantasy sitcom that originally aired on ABC for eight seasons between September 17, 1964, and March 25, 1972. Created by Sol Saks, the series follows the life of Samantha Stephens, a woman who marries an ordinary mortal man and vows to lead the life of a typical suburban housewife. Set in Westport, Connecticut, the show centers on Samantha, played by Elizabeth Montgomery, who possesses genuine magical powers. Her husband, Darrin, insists that she keep her witchcraft hidden from the public. Complications frequently arise as Samantha attempts to balance her domestic responsibilities with her supernatural abilities while managing her mother, Endora.
