Overview

3rd Rock from the Sun is an American television sitcom created by Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner. The series originally aired on NBC from January 9, 1996, to May 22, 2001. The program features a group of aliens sent to Earth to experience and report on life on the third planet from the sun. To facilitate their mission, the group disguises themselves as a human family. The high commander of this expedition takes on the human form of Dick Solomon and considers Earth to be the least-important planet. He is accompanied by his alien compatriots Harry, Sally, and Tommy.
