The Munsters is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from 1964 to 1966. Created by Ed Haas and Norm Liebmann, the series centers on the home life of a family of benign monsters who experience various misadventures. The central characters include Herman Munster, played by Fred Gwynne, and his vampire wife Lily, portrayed by Yvonne De Carlo.
