"My Favorite Martian" is a television series that premiered in 1963 and aired for several years. The show is a blend of science fiction, comedy, and family genres. It revolves around the life of a newspaper reporter who finds a crashed alien spaceship containing a live alien. The Martian, in order to avoid detection, assumes the identity of the reporter's uncle and begins to repair his spaceship to return to his home planet.
