Jason Kent Bateman, born January 14, 1969, is an American actor known for his roles as Michael Bluth in the Fox/Netflix sitcom Arrested Development and Marty Byrde in the Netflix crime drama Ozark. He began his career as a child actor, appearing on television in the early 1980s, including roles on Little House on the Prairie and The Hogan Family. Bateman's early film credits include Teen Wolf Too and Necessary Roughness. His work has earned him a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award.
