Kristen Anne Bell, born July 18, 1980, is an American actress and singer known for her work in film and television. She gained early recognition for her role as a high-school sleuth in the teen crime series Veronica Mars. Bell later starred in the television series The Good Place and Nobody Wants This. Her accolades include two Emmy Awards and nominations for three Golden Globe Awards. She made her Broadway debut as Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in 2001 and appeared in a Broadway revival of The Crucible in 2002. Bell also starred in the action film Spartan in 2004. In 2025, Time included her in their list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
