Rebecca Andrea Thompson is an American actress born on January 6, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio. At the age of six, she moved with her family to Australia. She left high school at sixteen and spent an extended period traveling before relocating to New York City. Thompson began her career in modeling and pursued formal training in acting at the Strasberg Studio and the Herbert Berghof Studio, where she studied under Uta Hagen. Throughout her career, she has appeared in several television series, including Falcon Crest, Babylon 5, JAG, 24, and NYPD Blue.
