FROM THE PASTOR
Once again, we are privileged to have Pastor Kevin Cotton as our guest speaker today! Kevin brought a beautiful and powerful message to us last week about God’s gift to us, and this week we will look into our gift back to Him.
I remember when Kevin attended Trinity High School. I believe he was a sophomore when he made an appointment to come and see me. Even then, he was mature beyond his years, and now to see him working full time in the ministry just thrills me!
Wasn’t that an incredible story about the young man who was on a Mission as he made a beeline to Kevin’s table he had set up at CSN on Charleston? I thought that Kevin was going to run into some real trouble when in actuality the young man couldn’t wait to hear the Good News about Jesus. How wonderful that he gave his life to Christ, and then immediately plugged in to become a part of the Intervarsity Ministry which Kevin leads.
Let’s pray that each and every one of us will have a story like that to tell very soon. “Lord Jesus, please bring someone into our sphere of influence that we each one could lead to You so they could know You as their personal Lord & Savior. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!”
Pam and I love each and every one of you. Thank you for allowing us to have some influence in your lives. We have just started our 36th year at Trinity Life Center, and this coming May we will have been the Lead Pastors for 31 of those years. It’s just unbelievable to us how time flies.
