Seth Gilliam is an American screen and stage actor born on November 5, 1968, in Washington Heights, New York, USA. He is known for his roles in various television series, including The Walking Dead, Oz, The Wire, and Teen Wolf. In The Walking Dead, he portrayed Father Gabriel, first appearing in Season 5. On Oz, he played corrections officer-turned-prisoner Clayton Hughes, and on The Wire, he played Baltimore police detective Ellis Carver. He also had a recurring role as Dr. Alan Deaton on Teen Wolf and appeared as Aaron Dexter on The Cosby Show.
