Maree Cheatham is an American actress born on June 2, 1940, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Throughout much of her career, she was credited as Marie Cheatham. She is best known for her television appearances and performances on daytime soap operas. She was a regular cast member on Days of our Lives, originating the role of the youngest Horton daughter, Marie, who later became known as Sister Marie. She also appeared in Search for Tomorrow, where she originated the role of the sarcastic and vampy Stephanie Wilkins, who served as Joanne Gardner's arch-enemy and was later replaced by actress and writer Louise Sh. Additionally, Cheatham played Lucy Coe's wacky and fun-loving Aunt Charlene Simpson on General Hospital.
