Jeff Conaway was an American actor. He was born in New York City, New York, USA. Conaway's early acting experience began when he landed a featured role in the 1961 Broadway play All the Way Home. The play was set in Knoxville, Tennessee. Conaway's performance in the play was notable for his Southern accent, which he developed from spending time with his grandparents in South Carolina. He is also known for his roles in the movie Grease, and the US TV series Taxi and Babylon 5. Conaway directed the 1992 film Bikini Summer 2. He passed away on May 27, 2011, at the age of 60.
