Gregory Jbara is an American film, television, and stage actor born on September 28, 1961, in Nankin Township, now known as Westland, Michigan. He is the son of an advertising office manager and an insurance claims adjuster and is of Lebanese and Irish descent. Jbara graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, Michigan, before attending the University of Michigan from 1979 to 1981, where he majored in Communication Studies while taking courses in Theatre and Musical Theatre. He subsequently attended the Juilliard School's drama division as part of Group 15 from 1982 to 1986, eventually earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He has two brothers who also work within the entertainment industry.
